4:2 Slogged

~I found this word when I read Chapter 1 ( for our Jigsaw Assignment) in the textbook, "Word Wise & Content Rich" written by Douglas Fisher and Nancy Frey. Page 1.

~"D'Andre slogged through the rest of the task,..."
My definition would be: 'To do something lazily'
Dictionary.com Definition: To work slowly and under duress.

~I have never seen or used this word before.

~I believe that this is a word that is nice to know but not necessary to get by. It doesn't necessarily make you a 'well-educated' person if you use this word.

~I am indifferent to whether or not others should know this word. I think it isn't exactly a word that you hear ever and necessary for that matter.
